Astro Ride

Dreamt that I was on one of those rides at amusement parks where you sit down with other people around a giant pole and get shot up and down really fast. I remember bracing myself for the launch by controlling my breathing and gripping the handles really tight. When we got launched up I realized the ride was a lot taller than I thought. The first time I went up I could see the entire beach that was surrounding us. The ride shot us back down to the ground and I remember feeling more prepared for the second launch since I just experienced the first one. As I was about to be shot back up I realized this time I was the only one on the ride. There was actually only one seat and I was in it. The ride launched me back up and this time it was a lot higher. I remember looking down once I reached the top of the ride and I could see the shape of the Earth below me. I looked up and saw Jupiter and Saturn and a bunch of stars. Then this guy came out of nowhere and said “hold on something’s up with your harness”. When he said that I closed my eyes and tried not to think of the fact that if I fell I’d be falling from outer space. He was fixing it for what felt like 30 minutes and as soon as he said it was ready I got shot back down.
