First lucid dream

I was a stick figure like in the Animator vs Animation videos on YouTube. I was with the other stick figures when I looked at myself and I realized I wasn’t a stick figure in real life and that I was dreaming. I got excited but then I remembered that if you got too excited you woke up. So I calmed myself down. Then I forgot what happened next. Why would I forget? Also I had a non lucid dream that I was on this app and every post had dozens of likes and comments.
