Thrifting and figure

I went to a vintage thrift shop opening by myself and there was nobody there. I looked around and there was some great stuff. I thought I saw out of the corner of my eye somebody move, but turned and there was nobody there. I called out “hello?” But nobody answered. Then Abbie came in and we started shopping together and she saw somebody run up the stairs. We chased the figure for some reason and they ran up the next level, and abbie followed into a small staircase.
