Blind Date

My dream started in a small strip of a city in the middle of a beautiful sunny day. Down this strip, there were many cafes and restaurants. The cafe at the end of this strip was having a blind date event and I was planning on participating, so I headed down the strip and entered the cafe. Once there, I noticed a lot of people lining up to enter some details into these white machines that were placed in a row of 4. Just like everyone else, I waited for my turn. Once I got to the front, I was explained that the process gives you a sidekick based on who your mother is. The sidekick would effectively help you in this blind date. It was only then that I realized I was in a weird reality. The "person" on the other side of the monitor had access to all events in the universe and could recreate everything, showing everyone who their mother was and summoned the sidekicks as they please. The one I was talking to looked like a piece of jerky that still has blood pumping through it. The skin was almost shaped in a spiral and the eyes and mouth were almost forming a small triangle in the center of its face. I was a little bit scared, but also excited. I was expecting something great, as I knew who my mother was and she is an awesome human being. To my surprise, however, the being on the other end of the monitor told me that I don't have a designated sidekick as I have no mother. They then proceeded to show me a clip of what my mother essentially was. She was pulled from the ocean by sailors. She was a crab like species, larger than any ship that ever sailed the ocean and her underbelly resembled that of the horseshoe crab. She died and could not have offspring, but in tribute, scientists fabricated me in her honor. Because of this, my sidekick also had to be fabricated. My sidekick was a small snail-like being. But I never used him during the dating process or the rest of the dream. As the dating event started, I was heading out to meet the girl I was matched up with. I walked past someone who was being yelled at by his blind date. I didn't think much of it, so I met up with a beautiful girl who had the softest heart. She was dressed in jeans, a black t-shirt and a leather jacket. Her hair was dark red and she had striking blue eyes. As I was sitting, a question in my head said: Where is K? (irl she is my gf) But I could not picture her at all. Her name sounds like it should be impactful. The date went perfect and we connected, but something inside her switched and she became distant and eventually excused herself. Confused by this, I headed back to the original cafe. On the way there, I saw the guy who got yelled at and joined him on a bench. He explained that things went well at the beginning for him as well and then immediately went sour. This was very suspicious to me, but I was not delving into that. So I decided to head back home after a quick restroom stop. The restrooms were strange as they were located in a separate building and not part of the restaurants. As I entered, the whole place seemed too dark and as I reached the stalls, I realized I was outside in an alley in the dark, at night. I looked around at the eerie scene and noticed a man-like figure sitting on a pile of garbage bags. He was not moving at all and his eyes appeared to be closed. As I kept staring, waiting for movement; a sign of life, his eyes shot open and the glow in his eyes shot into my soul and I could experience the way he ended up there. It turns out he is in fact dead and this was his final wish. Honored by him sharing his death with me, I decided to walk down the alley for a bit. I didn't head far when one of the girls from the dating circuit and she started mocking and terrorizing me. I started to run and find a way to hide, but she always caught up with me to mock me some more. Eventually I decided to push her down and run away so she cannot follow me. After this, there was a strange crossover where I ended up in a mall/school/warehouse. There were bars inside this building and activity centers. Once here, I noticed that the girls from the date circuit were hanging out and talking and they all seemed annoyed. Three of them, including the girl I had a date with were taking with each other. I tried to approach her, but she blanked me out. She seemed hesitantly distant, so I am certain she was being influenced. I walked around a bit and found myself in a strange maze made of soft exercise pads; the ones you would find in starter gymnastics classes. This is where they really started to terrorize me. I was being chased and pushed around through this maze until I was cornered on top of a platform that is quite high up. It was just myself and the girl from my blind date. The other two went out and turned on all the sprinklers in the room. While I was being drenched, she stared at me with her arms folded, but still not being angry. After a while, I just told her that I am pushing past and if she gets in my way, I am just gonna push her off. She refused and I started to push her. As she was about to fall, I grabbed her and pulled her up. She stepped aside and I left. Once outside, they explained why they did that. Because they were unapologetic, I told them to get out of my face. The leader of this whole thing as well as the other girl walked off. I was annoyed, but wanted to know what is up with the girl from the date. She told me that she is putting up a facade and that she is afraid I wouldn't like her. I told her to give me a chance. She agreed and went off to change into her real look. I told her I would wait at the bar. A moment passed and she entered again. This time she had a white dress that had an open back from the top to the bottom and then it seemed like a skirt and wore a denim jacket. She had black hair with green at the tips her makeup was plain. To me she was pretty, but a part of me said that she was a bit too alt. Her whole body language seemed ashamed, but I told her she does not have to be. She was beautifil. Her smile indicated that I could lean in for a kiss. As I hinted towards the kiss, something inside my head asked again: Where is K?! In that moment, I remembered exactly who she is and noticed that what I am doing is not normal. Upon realizing this, I could feel two shady characters rapidly move past me. I kept my eye on them until they tried to leave the building. Just before they left, they paused and threw something on the ground before bolting out the door. The radiation alarms in the building went off and I knew this was a bomb. I grabbed the girl and told her we need to head to the safe zone. As I ran, I noticed two guys inspecting the bomb. I was not going to stick around as they will get what they deserve for their stupidity. After a little bit of running, we reached the first safe zone. I realized that it is too close to be considered safe, so we ran to the second zone. Luckily we arrived at the right time as the bomb exploded shortly after we got there. Before waking up, I saw the two guys heading towards the safe room, but they were puking and they were bleeding from their eyes and ears as well. Their skin was also starting to peel off. But that was the end and I woke up
