The One Where I Throw the Subs Out

I look at Instagram and see that Shanon has posted a couple of videos of Renee on her story. I’m confused because I have no idea where they are, but it looks like they’re in Mexico ... After service, Renee, Brianna, Blane and I go “backstage” to get food (but it’s not really the green room — it looks more like a library). They’re serving subs. Renee walks away, but Brianna and Blane grab some, so I grab two and then realize that they look disgusting. I hide behind a bookshelf and inconspicuously try to throw them away, but there’s a girl watching my every move from across the room. I know that she thinks I’m weird and this makes me uncomfortable because I’m on the worship team. I start to tell a story that’s supposed to be taken as a joke to lighten the mood, and I do it as quietly as possible. The girl motions for me to come over. I sit beside her and apologize for disrupting anything, and then Michelle King calls me over. She basically tells me that my whole story was fake, not understanding that it was supposed to be a joke. She’s very serious about it, and I am super uncomfortable.
