The One Where the Zdziebas Go to Disney

I’m in a huge and super messy hotel room with a bunch of people. Several of us — my parents, Brody, Blake, Renee, and I — are preparing to head into one of the Disney parks when I notice that it’s getting late and no one is ready. I go to get my new Hokas on but can’t seem to find them in the mess. I find one that I think is mine, but realize that it’s only white on one side and super colorful on the other. I eventually find my shoes in a pile of crap in one of the bedrooms. I see Jaycie and Isak sitting on one of the beds and remember that we’ve apparently brought them here to watch the babies while we go into the parks. I look out the window and see a single cabana by the pool and remember that we’ve apparently used this before. I say something to Brody about bringing the stroller (which makes no sense considering we’re leaving the babies behind) and then sit down, looking around at everyone impatiently. I see that everyone is watching TV — including Uncle Michael and Aunt Ronny, who have suddenly shown up — and make some sort of announcement about how we should head out because the parks won’t be open much longer. Everyone finally gets up and we head downstairs and out of the hotel. We’re walking through an area that reminds me vaguely of CityWalk when I realize that Jaycie and Isak are with us and carrying the babies. I’m vaguely annoyed and hope that they didn’t assume we were also paying for them to go to Disney with us. Eventually, we end up in what’s possibly supposed to be Magic Kingdom. I end up in a weird arcade-looking area with Aunt Ronny, telling her that they’re replacing Dino Land USA with something Encanto-themed. I ask if she remembers when we went on the Dinosaur ride (we did this in real life) and how much I hated it. She smiles and says that she does. At some point, she turns into someone younger and taller. I watch as she walks over to a weird Toy Story-themed attraction that involves someone pushing a Woody doll — which is dangling from a hanging contraption — across the ceiling. I look up and see Brianna perched on a little platform up high and ask if I’ve ever told her — or the other girl with me — what Renee and I used to do to my mom with the toys on the ceiling fan. I then say to Brianna, “Actually, you may have done it with us before!” I then explain how we used to put toys on our ceiling fan, call my mom into the room, and then turn it on so she’d get pelted with stuff (in real life).
