I’m dropping some friends off at school. We have to wait for a minute so I sit down and start to doodle on a piece of paper. I can’t remember what I was drawing, but when I get up to leave I turn the paper upside down and inexplicably the drawing is now a beautiful image of a some type of building. Almost as if I subconsciously drew this image upside down without realizing it. I leave to go home on my new bicycle. The bicycle’s steering mechanism is a single bar that sticks up making it extremely difficult to steer. I notice the bicycle is very uncomfortable. I decide I want to turn around and go back to get my drawing. When I get there I look but can’t find it. I decide to leave and I take a series of bizarre passageways. I end up in a hospital where a female burn victim is shrieking in pain as nurses attempt to treat her and change her bandages. Most of her body is badly burned. I see members of her family crying in a waiting room. I travel along more passageways, everything becomes darker. Things are wet and dirty. I come across a young man who threatens me for some reason, but I resist him forcefully and he slinks off to a group of friends. Somehow I fall asleep and wake up in a city I don’t recognize. I’m in an extremely strange place where the city exists vertically as much as horizontally, it’s hard to explain, but you can get to as many places taking stairs or elevators as you could traveling on flat roads or sidewalks. I ask a passerby where I’m at. They look at me as if I’m crazy and say “Atlanta.” I start walking around, mostly traveling up stairs, and notice that the city environment is getting more and more pleasant. I enter a space where people are sunbathing and wading in giant wading pools. Everyone seems happy or contented. They lay on the ground or in the water talking with each other and looking out at the city below.
