Diagonal Football

I'm in my old secondary school. All my school friends are playing football on a large concrete pitch. It is extremely sloped at about a 45 degree angle from goal to goal, forcing one team to play uphill and the other to play downhill. I stand by the pitch contemplating which team has the advantage, when suddenly one of the players running downhill falls funny and snaps his leg.
