Ship and magic portal

Don't remember much , but I was on a ship getting ready for battle. At the moment we where trying to hide from our enemies. What made it difficult was the fact that everyone could use magic, so this was a magicians war and people were very tricky and didn't play fair. We had a princess on our ship that was very powerful and she needed to make a treaty with neighboring lands. We wanted them to fight with us. We end up going through this portal taking us to a land we haven't really been to. We get hailed by another ship and they take us to their port. We are cautious because we don't know if they are friend or foe. Our portal didn't work as expected. We get out of the ship and begin talking with their leader and the dream fades out...
