Wolf people

it is hard to describe this whole dream but it was exciting. I was a completely different person in this dream with a different family. it starts off where I'm going to school with friends and it is a normal day. the scene plays out like a movie where the audience doesn't know I come from a family that can turn into wolves. I go about my day and come home to find my family packing up everything. they tell me that we must leave with the clan to avoid a war with I guess this super evil group of people out to kill us. they reminded me of men in Black (just very bad) . my dad was the leader of the clan and he sent out a message to everyone to meet up so we can travel to this sacred tree where a portal was there that could take us to another world. once in the portal we would seal the exit and never return. my dad had this pet parrot that apparently is this magical gate keeper. he said that if something happened to him, we must follow the bird because he knows the words to gain entry into the portal. a lot of the dream was trying to escape. I get separated from the group but my family and clan make it in to the other side. my dad waits for me at the entrance in his wolf form. he tries to get me in but the scared tree says I can't because I have an oath to a friend to protect him. apparently this friend is a wolf from another clan we do not like but I've tried to get him to come with. his family sold us out to the men in Black. so I have to wait for my friend to make it, but we know we don't have much time. when the other family shows, they force my dad to make a deal where if they can live in the other side, their family has to be part of the main leadership with my father. as we get ready to leave, we get ambushed. there is a big fight where we turn to wolves and shred up some of the bad guys. we slowly go into the portal where my dad seals it shut but doesn't go in with us, his gate keeper bird will find another way. he says that he has to kill all these guys first so we can live in peace. time skips to us living in a fairy like world, eventually dad makes it back somehow and tells us the war is over. we end the scene running around this new world as wolves under this giant scared tree. small detail in this dream, it was twilight the while time, making the colors in this dream very rich in colors. most of my dreams are always set in the end if the day and im not sure why
