The One With the Roasted Duck

I’m somewhere with Matt Volkens and Jon McQuitty discussing something serious. I start getting all choked up and then bring up how hard it was for me to decide to leave the worship team. I’m confused at why I’m so emotional because it’s been so long and I wasn’t even this sad when I actually left. Matt does his best to be comforting … I’m in a dark place with high ceilings staring at a roasted duck. It’s weirdly shiny. I think about how it probably tastes good, but it makes me sad.
