Lack Of Confidence

I'm on stage performing guitar with rock band Djerv. I'm a last minute replacement for their usual guitarist. I'm getting by just winging it in the general key of each song. However, the next song starts off with a solo guitar part that I don't know. I walk off stage and get replaced by another guitar player. All he does is improvise like I could have done. I'm really jealous of him and feel disappointed in my lack of confidence to try it myself.
