I'm Usually Pretty Good At This

I get off stage after performing an acoustic set of covers. My voice feels particularly raw as my technique was not up to scratch. I learn that I have been booked for a set immediately afterwards in front of a lot of my friends. I enter the room to find them sat on the floor. I launch into my opening song, but for some reason I can't quite remember how to play the guitar. I try to strum the strings with my left hand while forming the chords with the same hand. I stop the song and restart it but still don't manage it. I feel very embarrassed.
