I was walking down the highstreet, when I spotted my best friend, Kylie, in the distance. I ran over to her, poked her with an umbrella and, for some reason, shouted “black lives matter.” (She isn’t even black?!) She laughed, muttered something under her breath and then walked off. Feeling a bit bewildered, I walked into this clothes shop. Apparently, I walked through the wrong door and there were all these barriers and plants blocking the way. “You can squeeze by, if you like!” This retailer called over to me. I started browsing the rails, but the store assistant was adamant that she was going to follow me around, commenting on everything I picked up. “I’m okay browsing on my own.” I said, awkwardly.
