Random run-on dreammemory; swimming scorpions

I went up a ridiculous amount of stairs to meet the president to turn down his invitation to a Sunday brunch and then got lost looking for an elevator and found a spiral ramp instead which led to a multilevel area of fountains and pools and I dunked my head in the water and a glowing pink fish got caught in my hair and began nuzzling my face and ear and it was sweet and I felt safe so I slid into the pond only to realize there were also colorful lobster-like creatures swimming around and at first I thought it was cool because they didn't have pincers and then I realized they were located on the tail like an aquatic scorpion so I started freaking out which attracted more of them and one pinched my left shoulder blade and I couldn't get it off
