I’m sitting with my mom at a table with an umbrella sticking out of it outside of what looks like a restaurant. I start to sing “Don’t Rain On My Parade.” At first, my voice sounds like Barbara Streisand, but as I get louder, I start to sound more like Lea Michele. I enjoy the feeling of hitting the notes with so much power. At some point, Tito Martin appears and asks if I liked “that” (performing for everyone). I smile and say that I did … Blake, Renee, and I are standing around a long picnic table. Across from us is a young black guy I don’t recognize. He holds out his hand, and Blake and I both go to give him cash. I awkwardly shake his hand as I do this and Blake and Renee find this funny. Renee whispers to me to ask if $100 seems like enough. Confused, I tell her that I only gave him a few bucks. She makes a face and then writes a check for $50 instead.
