Dang I haven’t recorded a dream in way too long. Anyway, this past Sunday I dreamt that scientists had discovered that the past and the future didn’t really exist, they were just memories and thoughts implanted into our brains and the only reality was the current year you were in. They also discovered that humans were all repeating the best year of their lives and that year was the only year that was real to them. The year (or maybe I should say age) was different for everyone though, and other people you interacted with whose best year it wasn’t were basically NPCs. I’m not explaining this super well. But basically I discovered that the “best year of my life” was my 25th year (the age I currently am) and that I was repeating that year over and over. Scientists had ALSO discovered that if you fell asleep right before your year ended, that you could repeat the year with all your memories from your previous iterations intact. So I started repeating my year - the best year of my life - over and over because I thought why not. But the interesting part is that I started living it differently each time, because I now had the knowledge that this one year was my whole life. So idk it just got me thinking after I woke up, was it still the best year of my life after a while? Even though every year we live is different from the last, does it have the potential to be the best year of our life?
