How Dare You Stab My Trampoline

I go into the garden to find old school friend Brendan M attacking my trampoline with a samurai sword. He is hacking away at it, slicing and stabbing the main bouncy surface. Furious, I scream at him to stop. Our tempers flare momentarily as things threaten to escalate to violence. Sensing this, I bring the tone down, and explain to him how reckless and destructive his actions were. He calms down and eventually sees the error of his ways.
