Granny Betty's Memories

This morning I woke up happy. My Granny Betty visited me in my dream. She was so happy. We looked through old family pictures together and she giggled at some of her favorite memories. I needed to feel her presence since I've been having a hard time in life. I could see all of the happiest moments that she had here on earth. One picture that stood out in my mind was of her riding a bike with a smile on her face. She looked free as her hair blew in the breeze. Another picture we looked at together was of a cake my mom tried to make for my sister's birthday. It was collapsing because the icing had melted. Granny laughed about it as she watched it fall apart. I also recalled small images of her at other occasions. Birthdays, Holiday's, and all of her favorite times. I know she's happy and at peace. She reminded me of that in this dream.
