Shining

I was swimming in this body of water at night with my mom (it was like an artificial lake exactly like that Jaws amusement park ride where the animatronic shark pops out). My mom was ahead of me and I wanted to get out but for some reason I knew I had to follow her. As we continued swimming I could feel/slightly see these giant creatures swimming right next to us(like 20 ft creatures). I kept thinking about a great white being in the water so I was freaking the fuck out. Plus the water was really gross and I felt like it had toxic waste in it. My mom kept reassuring me it was ok though so I just kept going until we reached the end of this “lake”. My mom got out first and I saw that her body had been extremely disfigured from whatever toxic waste was in the water. Her face and limbs were extremely swollen & shiny (her skin looked like a porcelain doll) and it looked like it was gonna fall off. She laid down on this gurney and this woman came over and thanked her for participating in the shining. I realized what we were doing was apart of some occult ritual. When I got out I noticed my leg and arms were like my mom’s. I was also thanked for participating in the shining. I asked “what is the shining?” And I was told it was a ritual used to discard of the useless to make room for the elite. It was a form of a humiliation ritual that ended in death.
