Peruvian Cacao with my Grandmother

My grandmother is helping me wake up for work. I tell her she doesn’t have to do that, and she says she’s already up. I’m preparing a mug of cacao and she hands me her mug, saying to “go ahead and put some of that- what is it? Whole grain cacao? In here,” and I say “Single origin, from Peru.” And I break off half a bar from my cacao and put it in her mug. We are on her porch.
