Choking at D&D

My girlfriend and I are taking part in a celebrity D&D game as part of the team Acquisitions Inc. Chris Perkins, the DM reveals that a giant florescent deer attacks the party and it is my turn. I get overwhelmed by the rules and possibilities and can't decide what to do. The more time I take, the more I realise the audience is getting bored and restless. Perkins tries in vain to help me by suggesting spells and actions but I get too flustered. Other party members Scott Kurtz and Jerry Holkins appear to find my lack of D&D knowledge very tiresome, Holkins in particular.
