My parents, my severely-autistic brother and I were going to the second floor of a building I don’t recognize. We all started to go up the stairs but then Jay disappeared. Mom (the only one at the bottom of the stairs) looked over and said “oh, he found his own way up” and came up. It turns out he had found the elevator, so we waited at the top of the stairs for him. The elevator arrived, but the only person inside was a young Asian woman. As she left, I noticed a brown wool hat with a pom-pom on the floor behind her, but I didn’t say anything. After the doors had closed and she had walked a little ways away, she said “wait, I had a hat!” and turned around. She pressed the button for the elevator and the doors opened immediately, she grabbed her hat then walked out.
