The One With the Hook Theme Park

I’m in a room full of girls where people are saying things that are apparently racist about Asian people, who they refer to as “A’s.” Casually, I say, “Technically, I’m an A.” I wonder if this will make everyone stop. I think about how I’ve never actually been personally offended by racial jokes about Asian people, but then wonder if this is just because I make a joke out of everything … I’m in what looks like an ER when I see Jordan Weeks (a guy I went to middle school with). His mom is apparently here with some kind of life-threatening complication, but they’re screaming and cursing at each other. At some point, Rose shows up. We sit near the reception area and I fill her in on what’s going on. We try not to laugh … I’m with a group of people (not sure who) which includes a teenage kid I don’t recognize. He’s apparently coming to church with us — which he doesn’t seem super enthusiastic about — and participating in my next Presentation Night with Alyssa and Renee. I think about how my presentation is apparently on what I would put in a Hook theme park.
