there was a war

- I may have been an old man at the point. I was sorting through a table of used items. Perhaps left over from the war. A Great War had just happened. With old technology. The items were perhaps "lost and found" and I wasn't thinking I would take anything. I was particularly interested in shoes and boots. I wanted to see some familiar type clothing but also tried some on. During the war I had been involved in battles, but I also worked as a service person (male version of a comfort woman) for women. At one point I saw a former colleague (also a service person) who was Jewish. He was known for having a large cock, whereas I had been with women who liked an average size. He made a joke related to this subject which I found very funny and laughed quite hard (I can't remember, but in the dream it was actually quite funny and I seriously laughed). Meanwhile i tried on shoes I liked. Then I saw an old Asian woman looking through the items who I recognized as a former "customer." She had been a performer in a type of acting and singing show which was no longer popular. I embraced her and began crying uncontrollably, and sort of fell/sat on the ground, because she had been a good friend and we had not seen each other in a long time. We were both old, but so happy to see each other again. I awoke still feeling overwhelmed with these feelings. As is common, the timeline of events in my dream makes no sense. The war is both immediate and in the past. I am normal age and then elderly during what seems to be the same time frame. I'm totally unaware of this contradiction during the dream. I become aware as I'm typing the a description of the dream. I fell back to sleep and had a second dream. I'm typing this after I've just arrived at work so my memory of the dream has already faded significantly. I am at my desk. I am with Deric Lacio. It is the summer. We are at a swimming pool. I watch people go off the diving boards. It is chaotic. The divers (mostly kids) are practically jumping on each other from the boards. I look at the lifeguard, who I seem to remember having long blonde hair, sitting on the stand overlooking the deep end and doing nothing. In fact I seem to remember him sitting with his head in his hand looking bored. I'm frustrated that he's doing nothing. At some point I decide to go jump off the high board. As I'm climbing the ladder somehow the form of the ladder changes and it is difficult to find a grip because the metal had flattened into narrow sheets with jagged edges. I make it to the top, but I can't jump. The board feels unfamiliar and I don't trust it. I realize I'm in a sort of enclosure at the top of the board so I sort of wait there for a bit. Deric has some sort of involvement in all this, but I can't remember what that was.
