The One With Captain Furbie

It’s nighttime. I’m heading into a club in a crowded plaza with Blake, Renee, Brody, and — for some reason — Elliott and Audrey. I notice a teenage boy standing near the entrance who’s been stopped because he has a small knife. I suddenly decide that I don’t want to risk the babies being harmed and ask my parents — who have suddenly appeared — to take them home. I end up in the front seat of the van as my dad drives us home through what looks like an up-north neighborhood. At some point, I text Rose, who will apparently be babysitting for me. I then ask my dad to pull over so that I can get back to the club, and he lets me out. I head back the other direction on the sidewalk, behind a guy with a large German shepherd puppy. I notice a pair of sunglasses on a ledge to my left and think for a moment that they’re mine, but then realize that I already have mine on my face. Somehow, it gets dark out and I end up leaving the nightclub by myself. I get in the backseat of a car that my dad is driving from the passenger’s side and a small shih tzu — that’s apparently my new dog — hops in beside me. Renee, who’s walking up to the car, says something about “Captain,” and I remember that this is the dog’s name. I vaguely hope that he and I form a special bond, and then think about how I want to rename him “Furbie.” Renee says something to my dad about stopping the car so that she can get in and he responds with something about AI. Eventually, she gets in and we head home. When I get back to my house (really, it looks sort of like the apartment Rose and Milton lived in when I met them), I pull out a wad of cash, and Rose takes a $100 bill out of it. I assume that this is what she wants for babysitting, but I feel sort of awkward about it. I start trying to mentally calculate how long she was even here with the kids, and then — for some reason — count off four $20 bills for Blake and Renee with a toothpick. This upsets a child (possibly Kaih).
