A Huge Column of Snow

I'm sat on my driveway with my friend Mik. I'm trying to set up a game of checkers but it's taking a very long time to find the pieces. When we finally start playing Mik is trying to tell me he got the job he been interviewed for but I'm finding it really difficult to focus on the words he is saying. After finally understanding him I congratulate him on his success. After the game is over I head over to my car to leave but the top of it is covered with a huge column of snow towering several feet in the air. Mik and I set about carefully removing the snow before I get in the car and drive away.
