The Dog Always Gets It

I'm running in a forest with people I don't know. A dog is with us. The dog gets run over as we cross a road in the trees and we all feel an extreme sadness. We eventually reach our hotel and decide to have a night out. When the time comes, only I and one other person actually feel up for going out.
