Shush Off, Kale Mouth

We were sitting around a dinner table with someone else's family (in what seemed to be the OSG in the living room near the fireplace at the top of the stairs). It was probably about eight of us; one on each end, and three along each side. I was in the middle along one side facing the fireplace. I wanna say Meagh was to my left, near the wall. The woman to my right was talking, and I started to interject something, but the elderly woman across from Meagh went "shhhh!" very sharply and annoyedly, possibly followed by something like "she's talking!" I was taken aback and rather embarrassed, so I shut up. I was feeling rather frustrated and irritated with this woman who was probably someone else here's grandmother or something, but I took a bite of kale and started the long process of chewing a bite of kale lol. The woman to my right was still talking, and the woman who'd shushed me started interjecting something. I was like 👀 and then decided to go "shhhh" at her, but she didn't seem to notice and kept talking. Determined to interrupt her and cut her off, I amped it up, putting my finger to my lips, scowling, trying to get even louder and more aggressive when she still didn't stop. I was struggling to shush properly with all that kale in my mouth, and I leaned across the table over everyone's food and got right in her face and was going "SSHHhHhhHhh!!" probably spitting everywhere. She finally stopped and I was like "can't you see she's talking?!" in a sarcastic angry whisper. The other woman had stopped talking too. Nobody said anything. Obviously I felt even more embarrassed now. After a moment I got up to go downstairs and try to regroup. I decided I should leave, but couldn't find my shoes. I went back up to the table to try and find them, and I think I tried to apologize to everyone or something but I got cut off, not sure if it was by the same woman or someone else, saying something like nobody wanted to hear it.
