The One With the Sandy Gender Reveal

I’m in the hotel room of a complete stranger as Alyssa — who is apparently pregnant — and Erika prepare to perform some sort of gender reveal. They get out a wedding dress and shake it all over the bed until pink sand comes out, signifying that it’s a girl. They run around the room yelling, “It’s a girl!” and cracking up. I say something about how “it’s girl season” and think about how everyone I know is having a girl right now — Kailyn, Jaycie, and Peyton. The guy who’s apparently staying here is not amused and makes a snarky comment. I look out the window at the pool and feel bad that we’ve broken into his room like this … I’m at what’s supposed to be Journey watching a very cheesy, 90s-like music video they’ve apparently made. I burst out laughing when I remember that Jon McQuitty is sitting next to me. He asks what’s so funny and I try to play it cool. I end up at what’s supposed to be his house where Andie greets me in the doorway. She’s very emotional upon seeing me and hugs me forcefully, but I barely hug her back. I’m confused as to why she’s behaving this way and feel awkward as she starts asking me a million questions. She asks me about if I’ve “started doing worship again” and I quickly respond that I haven’t. She seems taken aback by this and I start to explain that I don’t know what I was doing on the worship team in the first place and that I don’t ever plan to be part of one again. Somehow, I end up at Dave and Danielle’s house explaining this to them. I suddenly realize that it’s 6 o’clock in the morning and feel terrible because I know Dave will probably have to preach soon.
