Bugs and a broken bird

I was in my friend's house with her mom. The house was the same layout as irl but it was flipped and not mobile. There was a pool in the back, that's where Brea was. I went to the kitchen to make pancakes and realized there were bugs in the bag of mix - like giant meal worms and black spiders with bright green scorpion stingers, along with some kind of white moth. I walked outside for a while and when I came back, the bugs had gotten out of the bag and were scattered all over the side of the counter. I ran to Brea and she and her mom started helping me squash them. The moths were the hardest to get because they were flying everywhere, then suddenly a white bird flew across the dining room and into a column. It was wounded and crawling around the column like a bat. Brea handed me a cream colored towel and I wrapped the bird in it and put it outside through the screen door.
