I was sitting with a group of parents, at this school fair, and my son kept lying down on this random older (but really good looking) guy’s lap. For some unknown reason, it had made his daughter run off and cry. “I’m so sorry,” I apologised. “Don’t worry. She’s probably just confused. If we just kissed?” He suggested, moving closer and closer to my lips. I remember wearing this pink and very sticky lipgloss. I kissed his cheek. “Sorry, I left a lipstick mark.” I said. He seemed pretty pleased with himself. I walked over to a cake stand and asked if they were selling any hash brownies. The guy behind the stall laughed, not taking my request seriously at all. “No...really?” I said. Next scene; I had called my friend, Laura. she was really uninterested and monotone. Most unlike Laura. There were long awkward silences. Is she pissed off with me? I wondered. I said my goodbyes and noticed that there were ants in my bra. They had made all these tiny holes which made me itch like mad. I tried to flick them all off. Next scene; My boys were playing outside in my mum’s cul-de-sac. I was watching them from the door. In the distance, I spotted this chavy drunken thug, singing this really offensive song to himself. “Boys! You should come in.” I called over to them. But, before they could hear me, the drunken man started staggering towards them. They saw him and were terrified. Maxi bolted back into the house as fast as he could, but Alex was only arms length away from this disturbing guy. I ran over to him, grabbed him and pulled him to safety. My heart pounding in my chest, I locked the door as quickly I could.
