Walking laptop

I walk into my place of work, but realize that I brought my laptop while it should have been left at home. Luckily, the laptop has the walk to home function. I activate it and the laptop starts to grow legs and walk. I hover over it to make sure it gets there. Unfortunately, the laptop gets in the middle of the road and gets run over by a car, which it doesn’t see. I have to rewind the time to get back to before the laptop started walking. There is surely a bug that prevents walk home from walking properly and seeing cars. As I get back through time, I see that I am actually at my parents house, and they invited an entire homeless family to stay over for dinner. One of them, an old woman, has to sit on my lap. The food is very delicious, so I don’t mind the inconvenience.
