Stuck in VR

So I’m not 100% sure if I was in some virtual reality game, but it felt like it. I was in this team and we were going trough levels trying to beat this game but it kept getting harder every time me died. We had to find poop holes in order to get away from creatures attacking us. It was a turn based style fighting but we were able to talk between each move. It felt like VR D&D that had gone rogue and trapped its players, with a ton of space stiff in there and dark fantasy.
