An Eventful School Event, for Once

My highschool decided to renovate the teacher info section of their main website. In celebration they hosted a day of celebration to rejoice at how nice the teachers section is, but the students could only focus on how outdated our section looked. This did not take place at the school itself, but at a luscious park with a music festival area. As the day progressed I started to feel sweaty, so I went to the recreation building and felt the urge to shower then shave my body. After my shower, I went to the toilets to shave, but there were two sophomore girls joking around. I recognized them and they antagonized me for holding a razor-blade. I quickly left and ran to get lunch. I got ahold of some lunch and sat down to eat across from a few boys I recognized. The mean one of them acknowledged that I stank! Of course I mentioned that I had just taken a shower. I left before he could make another remark. I went to the sports bar to get a break from all the antagonizing. I saw Kyle standing by the side waiting for his drink so I went to stand relatively near him to check out what I should buy. The bartender said “Sir, your drink is ready,” and to my surprise I had just assumed it was like Starbucks and that was what he preferred to be called. I looked to him doe eyed and asked, “You like to be called Sir?” He only chuckled at that. My embarrassment was extremely clear as to how red my face was so I dashed off. An 8th grader (friend of mine) named Hunter, ran up to me in a haste exclaiming that he could find his twin brother, Chase. We looked for a few minutes before I noticed how nonchalant he appeared. I asked if we even need to look for his brother at all and he said as of it was a matter of fact, “Oh, no! He’s right over there” while pointing in his brother’s direction. I laughed for a minute then said my goodbyes. When the day ended I was so shocked at how people treated me, considering the fact that I’m a senior I should deserve more respect from those under me.
