This dream was viewed on a CCTV screen on fast forward. The view was from a camera mounted inside a bus, looking back into the passengers' area. Everything was on fast forward, so we continuously saw people entering and exiting the bus. The only onstant was an old man, about early sixties, sitting on the front left (front right if you think about its location on the bus). Everyday, this man came onto the bus and sat in the same location and rode it from end to end before getting off. On one of the days, we see a boy coming onto the bus and he sat down next to the man. From there on they sat next to each other. The boy got on the bus twice a day, once in the morning and once in the afternoon. Him and the old man sat seemingly in silence for a few days and slowly eased into talking to each other. The image sped up on the monitor and I noticed them getting closer and closer, exchanging gifts at some point. Pretty soon, they started to sit under a blanket and even began taking naps on their commute. This continued a while until we notice the boy becoming a little more distant and the man trying to usher him closer each day. The image sped up even more and the boy actively struggled on more days than not. The other passengers on the bus never noticed what was happening. Finally, we saw the boy strapped to his chair, struggling. Shortly after that, we see the man strapped in as well. After both of them have been strapped in for a few days, the video played in real time and the audio turned on. We heard the boy shouting at the top of his lungs and struggling to get free. The man matched his volume and struggled equally as much. A few seconds passed and the monitor turned off right before I woke up.
