Having trouble with dream recall the past couple of weeks, only able to remember feelings or flashes,but last time I slept (yesterday) I remembered some. I remember walking down the steps in the giant ... Mmmm I've come to think of it as a 'Hub" of sorts. Its a large room with very high ceilings, and not quite extravagant, but you can tell it was costly to build, and a large open staircase leading down to glass doors (which lead out to a busy street in the city) there's a main office behind glass, and then staircases leading up to different hallways, its usually bustling with people (if you look at any for too long though, a sinister vibe will set in), you can see some of the hallways in Upper levels from the main floor too. I consider it a "Hub" because this place tends to lead to one of three others (excluding the city outside the front doors) that is: 1.Hospitals (not often, but sometimes) 2.Hotels (often creepy, not at first, but there's usually someone or something I'm trying to get away/stay away/hide from, and weirdly, sometimes its actually fun at first, like a game of tag or hide and go seek, but then the realization will set in that something ... Unsettling is following you, or I'll have to get my friends/or my kids (I do not have kids in real life, just in dreams sometimes) and get them to safety, also something to note, sometimes hotels lead out to a sea canal, with a giant ship-ranging from passengers on board, to pirates, to a party ship, to some creepy band of dudes who are always up to no good-heebie jeebies kind of no good, and in the basement level is a pool, I do not suggest swimming in it, there are often piranhas, or some other sort of predator or threat*this rule applies to all waters within my dream world really, the prettier, the more dangerous) and lastly 3: High schools (which for whatever reason, always have their own movie theatre? I've never even been to a school close to that fancy, but some of the halls are like schools I've been to, others are much nicer, more funded, and strangely unfamiliar outside of my dreams, many things can happen in the schools, they have even turned to elementary schools partway through, and a couple times I've found my way to a sort of 'play room' and its massive, with all sorts of tunnels and hidden passages and drama students chase you while dressed as monsters and creatures , cool special effects make up too, and its usually fairly dark, with Blacklight's or something similar, but I suppose I could go on, and that would digress even more). So I was walking down the steps and toward the glass doors, I remember that I was wearing my black cotton punky dress mom picked up for me years ago, though maybea little longer, and I quickly realized that I was not wearing any of my tights with it. I remember looking around next, to make sure there was no one I knew around (without tights, my scars were showing, actually, fresh ones) and I thought "I need tights or jeans" but then thought "no one I know here, and I'm already at the bottom of the stairs, I've just gotta..own it now, I guess" I later ran into B.W. and K.M. from public school, (sorry 'elementary') in the city, as usual, I didn't know where I was anymore, Bre seems to know the way though. I joke " I don't really care if I don't know where I am, as long as I know where I'm going" (sounds quite metaphorical now), at the time, I knew I had some sort of GPS thing in my pocket, (maybe my tablet?) And I meant the literal address, because I knew if I tried hard enough, I could find where I am, and then insert where I'm going, and not being able to rely on the GPS to already know your current location (been there done that really life, so tedious, but at least I seem to feel less lost in the city dreams since I've gone on more of my own 'adventures' in real life , and had to deal with my horrible sense of direction (Combined with whatever causes electronics to go all wonky on me) and have to make due, even in the middle of nowhere, on a country road I've never walked before outside of fucking Bloomfield for Christ's sake) so when they smiled I laughed, somehow feeling I did now know the "where". I could see the ## Highways and Fields ## from where we were suddenly, I think we were going to the ##strange house## out that way, I've been to it a lot lately, don't remember anymore.
