I woke up in a strange room. I immediately remembered that I had to go to school for a literature class, which started at 9 am. I look at the clock: it's 8:58! Why didn't I set the alarm for 8:30? I usually do that! And why did I leave my place and go into this strange place that's not mine to sleep? And I left my alarm at my place! Now it's 9:15. I am already late, I don't even have time to eat breakfast. The teacher will definitely yell at me. Maybe it's better to not go, but I will then be suspended. I frantically look for my shoes. At that moment some strange guy walks in. "What are you doing in my room?" "I don't remember." I continue looking for my shoes, but can only find two that don't match in color. Whatever, it's already 9:25, the earlier I come, the less she will yell. The guy agrees to go with me for moral support. As we walk, I realize that this is Norhwestern University in Evanston, while my high school is in Palatine. I tell my new friend that we can't walk from Evanston to Palatine- we can only travel through that wormhole up in the sky. Then I come to a happy realization: you can use the wormhole to travel through time, not just space! I can get to school at 8:58, no, better make it 8:55, I don't know how long it would take for me to find the classroom. I grab on to my friend and say: " hold on, it's gonna be a rough ride." So we slowly float toward the wormhole - or is it the Moon? This whole thing feels weird, maybe this is a dream. So I wake up for real. Thank goodness it's the weekend! And I graduated high school 18 years ago.
