End of the world/new job

Date: 10/28/2020

I was living in the city near the town square and I went outside because the ground was shaking. I look up and see earth which took up most of the sky. (I'm guessing this city was on a geo-engeneered moon) I could see a storm raging across the whole surface that was facing us. I understood that the earth was about to explode thus ending life where we were. Next thing I know everything is fine and there are crews fixing up the damage to the city. Relieved I walk around a bit and 2 ladies ask me if I have a job. I reply no and they ask if i would like to work at the bookstore around the corner. They have books and hymnals.
