Ocular Implants

I was on a futuristic bio dome that works on new technology. A new ocular implant was invented and I was the first test subject for the device. The implant allowed me to scan my environment and people (health and mental status). It also allowed me to open doors that are within eye shot. It went well until I realized the built-in AI software allowed the device to grow in capabilities. I was eventually able to move objects that are in my sight. This was, however, illegal and the device had to be destroyed. The problem is that it is a permanent addition and I would have to be terminated as well. I fled for my life and left the station. Robots started chasing me down, but I was able to avoid capture. I ended up hiding in the slum part of town during which a dog found me. It sought comfort and because I was also in need, I accepted it into my hiding spot. We both lay there until the heat died down after which I woke up.
