Ending things badly

A tall man with brown hair and an older woman are working together at some menial job. The man looks to be in his late 40s while the woman appears to be in her 60s. The man and woman are generally unpleasant people. They spend a lot of time bickering and frankly bring out the worst in each other. They appear to have developed a sort of unhealthy codependency. Anyways, they’ve been involved in some sort of investment scheme that has gone badly and they are not dealing with it well. The man decides to steal a gun from some sort of local government armory. His plan is to rob gold bars from his employer at gunpoint. The woman, whose dim-witted daughter has suddenly appeared, decides she wants in on the robbery (it would be more accurate to say she just wants the man to do robbery and then give her some of the gold afterwards). The man and woman bicker about the plans for the robbery. At some point the man tells the woman that he’s not going to share any of the gold bars with her. He tells her he needs the gold more than she does because if she needs money she’s old enough to qualify for Social Security benefits. It had never occurred to the woman to apply for Social Security, and she’s excited about the prospect, but this does nothing to diminish her desire for some of the gold. (I should point out that we’re not talking about a truck-full of gold bars here, I remember there being a possibility of like 1-3 bars total). Anyways, I’m having trouble remembering what happened, but ultimately the robbery is a disaster and everyone gets shot in the street.
