i dreamed about stranger things. at first, i was will, and i woke up in the middle of the night and found some weird stuff going on in the house..... like there was dirt inside, qnd my dog was missing. i think i had to throw up. the details are super fuzzy here. but like i contacted mike i think, with my walkie talkie. then suddenly i Was mike. me and my IRL girlfriend and my IRL dog woke up in our house and realized that lots of things in our house, and even more outside, were like. Infected with this weird.... fungal growth, that was also gooey. it spread INSTANTLY through contact between living things (plants, animals, and even things that used to be livingg, like wooden structures and meat). me (mike), my gf, and my dog had to traverse the outdoors to a certain place we knew would be safe. we noticed that the infected items/beings would flash in a rainbow of colors when excited - like if there was sound or motion nearby, and the more sound/motion there was, the faster they'd cycle through colors. but when it was quiet and still, the infected things would just be a dull beige color all over, and kind of fuzzy like they're moldy. we had to carefully walk through the neighborhood without touching anything infected (because then we would get infected!)..... it became like a chess board of sorts, and very dark and hard to navigate.. a big hand reached out of nowhere and grabbed me, infecting me. i screamed and i don't remember what happened immediately next. suddenly i was back in my house. still mike wheeler. and i shared my house with will. we were in a hallway, and he seemed nervous and was telling me that something was wrong. i was looking around and noticed some floorboards were ripped up and a hole was dug through the floor, and suddenly I KNEW will wasnt REALLY will, so i ran into a bedroom and slammed the door shut behind me and locked it so will couldn't follow me. he started screaming at me and slamming against the door but i ignored him. it got really dark in the room...... i looked out the window, and i was on the second floor of my house. i looked into the driveway and it was all blue-gray and ashy like the Upside-Down. a car pulled into the driveway, and out came Hopper, Dustin, and a skinny white woman in a crop top and shorts with a long blond ponytail. no idea who she was. i think they were looking for me and will, to save me, and kill or maybe exorcise will. i wanted to use my walkie talkie to tell them where i was but realized it was out somewhere else in the house and i couldn't get it without encountering will. so i opened the window and yelled something down to them, but hopper suddenly had a MACHINE GUN and pointed it at me so i ducked down. he didnt shoot thought. i decided i'd just wait and hope they'd find me. at some point later hopper was with me and we were discussing how to trap or kill the thing that was pursuing us - like, some kind of huge beast that was previously using Will as a vessel, but had now taken on its true form which was much larger. i was telling him that earlier, closing a door was enough to keep it at bay. but he was like, no, its bigger and stronger now, that wont work. i specifically remember him saying "What holds a cat won't hold a dog.".... which i thought sounded wise and cool as fuck. i thought about like, making some kind of pit filled with sharp spikes and stakes that we could trick the monster into falling into, but realized we wouldn't have enough time to make that complex of a trap. this transitioned into a dream where i was grocery shopping with Gerard Way at Super Saver, and he left and went to the car once we got to the checkout. i didnt have enough money to pay for all of it though and was trying to call Gerard but he wouldn't answer his phone. i assumed he was trying to stay hidden to avoid being recognized. my brother suddenly appeared and gave me $20. the end
