The Almighty Fire Hydrant

I had some pretty good dreams last night, I remember a few scenes before I became lucid and then one before I woke up. The furthest back I can recollect is walking through some old, thin, cobble streets between three-story buildings. I was walking past them and just looking at the doors, windows and such, everything was strangely decorated and almost looked plastic. After this I was at the base of a lighthouse which, on closer inspection, was derelict with the entire surrounding base was rubble and debris. I chose to get back onto a path that ran along atop a wall that was above the ocean to my left, walking past stores on my right. This is when it happened, I turned right and was at the front of a store, I think I caught sight of someone's face and realised I was dreaming. I wasn't fully lucid but i was aware at least, I was looking at my hands and trying to concentrate enough to get control but as per usual I never shout for control and clarity because I am not fully conscious. What I decided to do instead was focus on my surroundings, one item in particular was a small, yellow fire hydrant that I just started at profusely, noticing all of the details like rust and chips, it really was detailed. After this I woke up suddenly, I fell back asleep into a dreamless state. Right before I woke up I was in a dream where I was in a FPS game, one of my friends found that someone had hacked the game and swapped out a weapon for an item that could control or create anything in the game. Pretty cool. That's it, it was a very arbitrary lucid dream, I think if I was more prepared then I could have gained control but yeah, that's it. ✌️️
