Meeting Ace

I reluctantly went to a KISS concert with friends I hadn't seen in years. It was a small venue, half indoors, half outdoors. When the band came out, they played one song, but then brought out the old band next to them so both iterations of KISS played together. It was kind of amazing! When the one song ended, I took my two guitars (which I brought with me for some reason) and went to bathroom. When I got back, KISS was off the stage. I asked what happened and they said that they didn't want to play another set because there "wasn't enough energy" in the place. Then the band started walking out to their bus and I was trying to get them to stop. I actual got Ace's attention and said, "Since you guys couldn't finish, can I at least get an autograph?" So he started to sign these work documents I had in a manilla folder. I stopped him and asked, "Is there any way you could sign my guitar?" I opened my trunk and handed him my Lee Paul and he beamed and started playing it and gave me a nod of approval. Then he signed stuff all over the guitar. The first was "To the douchebag wouldn't let us play..." and then one to me and one to the rest of the world. It was amazing.
