I’m in Washington D.C. and seem to be a member of congress. I’m in the house chamber listening to people give speeches. I think I give a speech that is well received. Someone else gives a speech that is poorly worded and crass. I think it’s not appropriate language for congress. Suddenly I realize one of my boys is with me and they start acting up, so I pick him up and we leave the chamber. We are driving around D.C. when we stop at a park area. The park is between two very busy highways. I set Dexter down and start walking along the fence line closing multiple gates so Dex can’t get out. Before I finish closing the gates I see a group of people standing together and I recognize Allison W among them. I walk up to the group and stand next to Matt Thorton as they’re taking a picture. No one seems to recognize me until I tell them who I am, and they are happy to see me. Allison seems a touch annoyed for some reason. I start to suggest that we go get a drink when I realize Dexter is running through an open gate and towards the road. I immediately chase him down and grab him before he gets there. For some reason we proceed to drive around for a bit, then we return to the park. I find Allison by herself and I ask if she wants to get a drink later. She says she thought I wanted to get drinks with the group, not just her, and she seems reluctant to grab a drink with just me. I get the feeling she’s concerned about a boyfriend/husband. It also feels like she kind of looks down on me for some reason. It seems like she could care less if we reconnected at all, which makes me sad.
