Back To School

I traveled back into someone's childhood with the knowledge I have today. It was, however, a little further back in the historical chronology when segregation was an issue. (There are some deviations from the actual history of our current universe) *The dream has no throughline, but the moments within are quite intense* Teachers were rather strict and harsh towards the children. What I noticed was this was an all white primary school (primary in this sense falls under the system where part of elementary would be considered primary as well). If a student did not abide by the rules, they would be subjected to corporal punishment. My younger self in this sense was rather soft spoken, so the teachers had an easy time forcing their will and rules onto me. The moment I moved in with my mature conciousness, that changed and I started to talk back like an adult. One of the teachers threatened to try and beat me, but I used logic and rules against them adter which they backed off. Another threatened to take me home so my parents could "handle the situation". I pointed out that I am a minor and that if they tried to get me in their car without my or my parents' permission, that would constitute kidnapping. After a few of these incidents, I was rather untouchable and decided to wander around and see what other unethical occurences were taking place in this school. I did not have to go far to see that there were black students in an encampment on the premises. They were under fed, received a lower level of education and much harsher punishments. I became quite verbal after seeing this and received a lot of pushback. There were a lot of back and forth between myself and the teachers, but nothing changed.. I woke up shortly after all this
