The One With the Class Rings

I’m in a house I don’t recognize with Josh and Bri. We’re sitting at a small table in a breakfast nook talking about our class rings. Josh shows me his — a silver ring fitted with an ovalian blue stone on which there’s a silver pegasus. I explain to him that the ring I’m wearing is actually my grandfather’s (in real life, I used to wear it all the time). Josh asks how he died, and I say, “He committed suicide.” At some point, we all end up at my parents’ house, joined by Ezra and Rowen. I’m suddenly aware that Josh and Bri are going to tell us they’re moving to Spain because they haven’t had a chance to yet. I’m not all that upset as I’ve gotten used to saying goodbye to people, but am suddenly overcome with emotion looking at Rowen.
