The One With Brianna’s Assistant

Date: 11/8/2025

It’s nighttime. Several people are at my house for a party, including Renee and Brody’s family. Blane and Brianna are getting ready to leave when a weirdly quiet blonde woman with a clipboard — who I somehow recognize as Brianna’s apparent assistant at Journey — says something that implies that Brianna is pregnant. I ask her to repeat herself, not wanting to overreact if I’ve misread the situation and look like an idiot. She says it again, but still so quietly that I’m still unsure. Finally, I look at Blane and Brianna who smile and nod as if to tell me I’ve guessed correctly. I immediately hug Brianna, then pull away and say, “How far along are you?!” She tells me she’s 20 weeks and I’m completely shocked. Trying not to feel weird about the fact that they got halfway through the pregnancy without telling us and had her assistant break the news, I ask how she’s been hiding it so well. She turns to the side and I suddenly notice that her stomach is huge and hanging low. I can’t believe I haven’t noticed this. I then remember that I’m apparently pregnant too and think about the fact that she, Peyton, and I are all pregnant together.
