Angering YouTubers

I am with a successful guitarist YouTuber. He is angry with me because I uploaded a video of myself impersonating him. The impersonation was not flattering and played for comedic effect. I am trying to tell him that it came from a place of being a fan and I meant him no disrespect. He asks me to delete it but my phone won't let me. Over time I feel that he has warmed to me somewhat, and I even broach the subject of a possible collaboration. He doesn't seem keen.
