My old crush

I had just gotten married to a girl I had a crush on in school. She had become a professional actress. One of my favorite teachers came to congratulate us. I was taking a group of friends to see my wife in a play and we invited her to join us. Before going to the theater, we went to dinner. I rode with my wife. She had just gotten a fancy new sports car with left hand drive. The restaurant was (trying to be) very upscale with sophisticated looking decor and etc but the food was ordinary. I was a little annoyed by that but I was very happy about going to the play later.
